Style Look Lab helps you explore personal style through free quizzes, photo color analysis, hairstyle previews, and practical guides. A useful tool should help you decide what to compare in a fitting room or discuss with a stylist, while explaining where its suggestions come from and where they may fall short.

Seasonal color analysis remains a central part of the product. We make the 12-season framework easier to access, understand, and question, without treating a season label as a rule about what you must wear.

  • The free color season quiz asks five core questions and up to two follow-ups. It needs no photo or signup and returns a shortlist to explore.
  • Photo color analysis uses one to three clear, front-facing photos. Sign in for one free preview per eligible account: a season, core traits, placement on the season wheel, and four wardrobe-core plus two signature colors.
  • A separately purchased Complete Report adds the full palette and guidance for outfits, current weather, makeup, hair, eyewear, and jewelry. Each purchase applies to one report. Studio credits cannot unlock it. View a complete example to see the delivery format using AI-generated imagery.
  • Hairstyle AI uses a photo to preview selected cuts and colors. These previews are visual references; your hair, stylist, and styling routine affect the real-world outcome. Pricing and credits explains current access.

The quiz and photo analysis are independent: the photo workflow does not inherit or verify quiz answers. Neither tool claims a validated accuracy rate.

An AI model estimates visible skin, hair, and iris colors from the photos. Internal rules use those estimates to derive temperature, depth, clarity, and facial contrast. A further AI step considers your photos and the analysis evidence to suggest a likely season and personal palette. The report adds practical styling directions. Reported color values are model estimates, not calibrated pixel measurements.

This is an image-based style analysis, not a judgment about identity, health, or attractiveness. The full methodology explains what the system estimates, what it derives, and where its limits are. Confidence describes support within the internal analysis; it is not a statistically calibrated probability of being correct.

Style Look Lab was designed around gaps that older references often leave behind:

  • The Monk Skin Tone Scale, MST 1–10. Skin depth is described on a scale intended to represent a broader range of people, rather than using the Fitzpatrick scale as a color-analysis shortcut.
  • Olive as a site-defined undertone label. It can have a warmer or cooler lean and is separate from skin depth. Olive alone does not decide your season.
  • Uncertainty stays visible. A confidence score and neighboring result matter more than pretending every photo supports one absolute answer.

Style Look Lab is an independent product. There are no investors, ads, data sales, or sponsored recommendations. Revenue comes from the people who choose to pay for the product.

That structure keeps the incentive simple: make the report useful, explain the reasoning, and be honest about uncertainty. Independence does not make the analysis infallible; it makes the tradeoffs easier to state plainly.
