What haircut should I get?
Upload one selfie. We check which face shapes your photo sits closest to, then list haircuts worth trying for the hair length and texture you have, with notes you can take to your stylist.
Before you upload
- Face the camera straight on
- Pull hair back so your forehead and jaw show
- Even light, no sunglasses or hat
Your face shape is worked out on your device, and the photo is not uploaded for this step. A photo is only uploaded later, if you choose to see a haircut on it.
How it works
Three steps from selfie to stylist notes
- 01Upload one selfie
Your face shape is measured in your browser. We show the two shapes your photo is closest to, and you can change it if it doesn't feel right.
- 02Tell us length and texture
Choose women's or men's styles, how long you'd like to go, and your natural hair texture. The list updates as you tap.
- 03Pick looks and bring the notes
Open any haircut to see what to tell your stylist. Then see your picks on your own photo; the first look is free, no sign-up.
About the result
Why two face shapes, not one
Faces rarely sit neatly inside one category. Most outlines fall between two of the seven shapes, so we show the closest two and let you read them together instead of forcing a single label.
Camera angle, lens distance, light and hair covering your jawline can all move the reading. If the result doesn't match what you see in the mirror, change it above and the list updates. A face shape is a way to start a conversation about hair, not a rule about what you can wear.

FAQ
Questions about the haircut finder
How does the haircut finder work?
It measures your face outline in your browser, finds the two face shapes your photo sits closest to, then looks up haircuts worth trying for those shapes. Your choices for women's or men's styles, length and hair texture narrow and reorder the list.
Is my photo uploaded?
Not for the face shape check. That runs on your device. If you tap Try on my photo, the photo is carried to our hairstyle tool, and it is only uploaded when you press Generate there.
Why does it show two face shapes?
Most faces sit between two shapes. Showing the closest two, in order, is more honest than one label, and the list draws on both.
Can I take the results to my barber or stylist?
Yes. Each haircut has a short note you can read out or show on your phone. It describes length, shape and finish in plain words, so your stylist can adjust it to your hair.
Does it include men's haircuts?
Yes. Switch between women's and men's styles at any time. We start with the one your photo points to, but the choice is yours.
Why do I have to choose my hair texture?
Texture changes how a cut falls and how much work it takes. A style that is easy on straight hair may need a different approach on curls, so we filter the list by the texture you pick instead of guessing.
